The role of plankton as natural food affects the potential fish in waters. structure community Aneuk Laot Lake can provide an overview stability these This study aims to determine biomass and Sabang. research was conducted September 2019 waters Lake. Determination observation stations using stratified random sampling method, identification census method analysis chlorophyll-a Trichomatic method. results showed that composition consisted 27 phytoplankton 4 zooplankton genera which were divided into Bacillarophyceae (36%), Chlorophyceae (19%), Cyanophyceae (16%), Zygnematophyceae (10%), Dinophyceae (3%), Euglenophyceae (3%) Crustacean class (13%). abundance 21,333 ind/l, most abundant type is Navicula sp. Diversity index value (2.97) category high, eveness (0.87) low dominance (0.07). Chlorophyll-a values ranged from 2.84 4.84 mg/l including medium nutrient category. has a high level with trophic status mesotrophic-eutrophic.
